Sinópsis:
Una jóven actriz, Carole Beaumont, es cortejada por el productor-actor Charles King, pero, insegura de sus sentimientos, ella se resiste a sus atenciones. Durante un ataque aéreo, un cascote de pared de una explosión por una bomba en la cafetería es golpeada y queda inconsciente. En su estado confuso, unas fantasías destellan por su mente, y ella cree parecerse a Nell Gwyn de los Viejos Drury, y Carlos King que se parece muchísimo el Rey Carlos.
